Using the MWEB privacy toggle

PTERI is built on Litecoin's MWEB (MimbleWimble Extension Blocks), which enables confidential transactions that hide amounts and improve fungibility.

In the PTERI Wallet, the MWEB privacy toggle lets you opt in to confidential transactions on a per-transaction basis. Privacy is optional by design — for regulated use cases you can keep transactions fully transparent and auditable.

Note that Litecoin's commodity status keeps PTERI compliant for regulated industries even when MWEB privacy is used.
