KAKR getting started guide

The first-time path: account, API key, first call, MFA, and going to production.

Updated September 14, 2026 · 1 min read

The shortest path from nothing to a working integration:

  1. Understand what you're building on. Read what is PTERI? and, if it's new to you, why passwordless.
  2. Create your account and first API key. See creating a developer account and your first API key — the Free tier needs no credit card.
  3. Make your first API calls. Follow getting started with the API — a connectivity check, then creating an identity and an address.
  4. Understand authentication and MFA before you build a login flow around it — see how authentication works and MFA and device verification.
  5. Check plan limits against what you're building — see plan tiers and usage limits.
  6. Before you go live, run through the production readiness checklist.
